There are just certain things that must be incorporated into my life in order to maintain my 65 lb. weight loss results. Anything to completely avoid that awful feeling of deprivation is the most important.
As a result, I’m all about keeping ALL the flavor! I mean really, who wants to give up taste and walk away from meals feeling unsatisfied?! No one I know. And surely, no client I’ve ever worked!! That UN-satisfied feeling after meals leads to cravings and bingeing. So without further ado, here’s the recipe!
Fat Burning Keto Friendly Basil Pesto Sauce… Clean and dairy free!
- 2 Large Bunches Organic Basil (2 containers or probably 4 bunches if they’re the smaller ones!)
- 1 cup Organic Olive Oil
- 1/2 cup Organic Pine Nuts (lightly toasted)
- 1 tbsp. Organic Garlic Powder OR 1-2 cloves fresh Organic Garlic
- 1-2 tsp. Sea Salt
- Vitamix or other trusty blender!
1. Clean basil!
2. Add Olive Oil to blender
3. Add Pine Nuts
4. Add Sea Salt + Garlic … (Note: tastes may vary for amount of both of these. Feel free to of course add more!)
5. Pulse – blend to begin with…
6. Then blend to desired consistency.
7. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours before using so the flavors can marinate!
